FCC 210 Intro to US Latino Studies offered this Fall 2020

Latinas/os are the fastest growing population in the United States, creating a multilayered phenomenon that impacts all sectors of our society. This course on U.S. Latinx Studies offers an introduction to key topics and perspectives on the impact Latino/as have in the U.S.

Fall 2020 Tuesdays from 6:00-8:45 pm.

Since 2018, I have been living and working in Madrid, Spain as an Auxiliar de Conversación, as an English Language Assistant. I worked for the Ministry of Education in the Bilingual Program. This program assigns its participants in public schools throughout Spain to allow students to learn English from a native speaker.

Dr. Randi Polk was once again named the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences' Outstanding Mentor and Teacher.  She recieved her award at the 2019-2020 Academic Year CLASS Convocation Meeting on Thursday, August 15th, 2019 in the Gifford Theater on EKU's Richmond Campus.  The award comes with a $500 stipend.
