Jaydan Norris, EKU Spanish major, is studying abroad in Costa Rica this semester with the SOL Education Abroad Spanish Immersion program.  She is studying at the Latina University of Costa Rica in Heredia City. Originally founded in 1986 as the Universidad Interamericana, the Universidad Latina is among the most renowned private universities in Costa Rica.

Dr. Michael Rich, Associate Professor of Japanese and Chinese at EKU, was invited to participate in the Commemorative Kyudo Tournament for the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Omihachiman Kyudo Federation and the 20th anniversary of the construction of the Omihachiman Kyudojo on March 10 in Central Japan.
