“When I started out in college and declared my Spanish major, I became quite worrisome that there weren't many career options for me. I thought interpreter, translator, and teacher were all this field had to offer me. However, after graduating, this degree opened more doors than I ever thought possible. Not just professionally, but personally as well.

CLASS Scholarship Application now on webform

The CLASS Scholarship Application has now transitioned to a webform (https://class.eku.edu/scholarships).

Students no longer need to submit the paper application.

Letters of recommendation may be mailed/dropped off to Miller 208 or e-mailed to class@eku.edu.

Six Eastern Kentucky University faculty members were honored on Monday, April 9, for high-impact teaching practices, teaching innovation, scholarship related to teaching learning, and faculty leadership.

Spencer Chowning, EKU Honors student in History and Spanish, will be teaching English in Spain this fall through the Council On International Education Exchange Teach Abroad program (https://www.ciee.org/).  The CIEE program sends Language and Culture Assistants support local teachers by facilitating conversational activities
