EKU Chapter of Sigma Delta Pi National Honor Society to Initiate 2020 class of Spanish majors

Sigma Delta Pi Initiation ceremony Nov. 19th

The Eta Mu chapter of the Sigma Delta Pi National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society will initiate it's 2020 class of Spanish majors on November 19th via their 1st virtual ceremony since it's beginning in 1973 on EKU's campus.  Proudly boosting over 250 members, SDP's purpose is to honor those who attain excellence in the study of the Spanish language and the literature and cultures of the Spanish-speaking peoples.

Sigma Delta Pi was established in 1919 at the University of California at Berkeley, and there are now over 430 chapters with 80,000 members.  You can read more about SDP's history at https://sigmadeltapi.org/about/our-history-and-mission/
