LCUH professors Dr. Erik Liddell and Dr. Randi Polk named Associate Director of EKU Honors
Two former “Honors Faculty Fellows” Dr. Randi Polk and Dr. Erik Liddell will be stepping up to split the duties formerly covered by Honors Program Associate Director Minh Nguyen, and both will henceforth hold the title of Associate Director of EKU Honors.
Associate Director Randi Polk will serve as campus coordinator for national awards, advising students campus-wide (whether in honors or not) concerning applications for national recognitions such as Fulbright, Goldwater, and Truman scholarships. She will also be working on curriculum development and orientation of faculty new to honors.
Associate Director Erik Liddell will continue in his role as Chautauqua Lecture Series Coordinator, and he will coordinate our honors students’ participation in national and regional research conferences.
Both will also continue to teach honors seminars regularly.
Congratulations to Randi and Erik, and deepest gratitude to the hundreds of faculty and staff across the EKU campus who support EKU Honors and our students!
