LCUH students selected for the Laura D. Kennamer Endowed Scholarship

Three LCUH students were selected as recipients for the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences' Laura D. Kennamer Endowed Scholarship:

  • Kaley Outlaw, BA French & Communications Studies - $3,000
  • Ligia Tossato, BA Piano Performance and French - $3,000
  • Caitlyn Williams, BA Spanish and Pre-Occupational Science - $3,000

The Laura D. Kennamer Endowed Scholarship Fund, established by the late Laura D. Kennamer, aids and fosters the educational experience of students attending Eastern Kentucky University who are majoring in programs in the areas of Social and Behavioral Sciences.  Recipients must be an EKU student majoring in Animal Studies, Anthropology, Art & Design, Broadcasting & Electronic Media, Communication, Economics, English, Globalization & International Affairs, Geography, Paralegal, Political Science, History, Foreign Languages, Humanities, Music, Philosophy, Public Relations, Psychology, Sociology, or Social Work.  Students may apply to use funds for Education Abroad, EKU tuition/fees, and other expenses related to continuing their education at EKU.  Applications are reviewed twice a year (Fall and Spring) by a committee and may be renewed annually.
