LCUH logo (hands holding globe)

For the last thirteen years, Mx. Blumberg has been teaching Classical Latin for the University of Iowa, first as a graduate student teaching first- through fourth-semester Latin to undergraduates, and then later as an adjunct instructor designing and teaching upper-level online courses from her home here in Berea Kentucky. Even before coming to Iowa, she tutored undergraduates at Berea College and the University of Kentucky in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew for the length of her undergraduate degree at Berea and subsequent M.A. at UK, so in all she has been teaching Latin at all levels for twenty years.

Mx. Blumberg as recently hired at EKU to teach the Latin summer courses for Upward Bound, utilizing a plethora of supplementary resources, such as quizlet collections, additional exercises, keyed HW assignments, graffiti workshops, video tutorials, etc. She also teaches from the Oxford Latin Course, and like most Latin enthusiasts, she is familiar with a variety of other textbooks of the subject.  The courses she currently teachs are interactive assignment schedules with frequent ‘in-person’ meetings.

Mx, Blumberg is teaching the LCUH LAT 101 this Fall semester at EKU
